weight loss therapy
medically assisted weight loss therpay intergrates multiple strategies, including the use of glp-1s, exercise, blood tests and nutrition.
a medical consultation allows for a targeted approach, should the issue be physiological, mental or inexperience
ADOPT
The traditional approach to weight loss adopts well-established methods such as dietary modifications, exercise regimens, behavioural therapy, and lifestyle changes. These methods have been the cornerstone of weight management for decades, to help achieve and maintain a healthy weight.
ADAPT
With advancements in pharmacotherapy for weight loss, there's an adaptation in treatment approaches to incorporate medications such as GLP-1 receptor agonists like semaglutide (Ozempic/Wegoovy). These drugs work by mimicking the action of the natural hormone GLP-1, which helps induce weight loss by reducing appetite and improving satiety.
Advance
At Menon Health we’ve further refined and innovated medical weight loss treatments. This includes the adoption of newer GLP-1 receptor agonists like Tirzepatide (Mounjaro), which offers enhanced efficacy or tolerability compared to existing medications.
Additionally, the integration of prescription only novel therapies represents an improvement in weight loss interventions. These treatments may enhance metabolism, potentially aiding in fat breakdown and energy expenditure, or have effects on behaviour, giving potential utility in combating food addiction and emotional eating patterns.
Methodology
The first step towards your new self, starts with a medical consultation.
The consultation involves a holistic look at what you want to achieve, what you’ve tried in the past and what you want to achieve by going down this route.
For many, the consultation is enough to know whether or not a pharmacological approach will work - and for many, understanding how this approach works is enough to realise that this isn’t necessary. Unfortunately the world we live in now, has everything going against us. With foods being more addictive and healthy alternatives being harder to source - life is on hard mode.
For a small few the pharmacological approach can be exactly the reset needed to jump start the weight loss journey.
After the consultation, and if you fit the criteria, you may be prescribed medication to help appetite control.
If it is found that your behaviours tend towards emotional eating or food addiction, additional medication can be prescribed to help combat this.
You are provided with a follow up every month prior to commencing the next month. This allows for guidance and to see if further treatment is needed.

Tirzepatide belongs to a class of drugs known as dual glucose-dependent insulinotropic polypeptide (GIP) and glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1) receptor agonists. Tirzepatide works by targeting multiple pathways involved in glucose and energy metabolism, resulting in reduced appetite, increased feelings of fullness, and improved glycaemic control.
Clinical trials have shown promising results, with participants experiencing significant weight loss compared to placebo.
Tirzepatide's unique mechanism of action makes it a promising option for individuals struggling with obesity and related metabolic conditions.

Our proprietary blend of methylene blue, along with other dietary supplements help “augment” the effects of tirzepatide.
It helps boost weight loss via different pathways to Tirzepatide, such as the AMPK pathway, and can further potentiate satiety.

Certain neuropeptide hormones can influence appetite regulation and food intake by acting on specific brain regions involved in hunger and satiety. Additionally, it may reduce cravings for high-calorie foods and emotional eating behaviours.
These neuropeptides have been found to enhance the body's metabolic rate and promote the breakdown of fat.
The nasal spray shows promise as a potential adjunctive therapy for individuals aiming to lose weight.
